Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Evgeniy Mityulya ("we", "us") for the use of Inko (listed on the App Store as Inko: Invoice Maker & eSign), referred to below as "the App". By downloading or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These terms supplement Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which governs your licence to use the App; where they conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.
1. What the App does
The App lets you import or scan documents, sign them with an electronic signature, fill in text, dates and stamps, and create invoices and estimates. It runs on your device and does not require an account.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except where the law allows.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Some features require a paid subscription. Prices and options are shown in the App before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If a plan includes a free trial and you have allowed notifications, we send you a reminder before the trial ends. Any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel your subscription any time in the iPhone Settings app under your name and Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy, not by us.
4. Electronic signatures
The App creates a simple electronic signature by letting you draw or photograph a signature and place it on a document. Simple electronic signatures like these are widely used for everyday business agreements. Rules differ from country to country and from one kind of document to another: some documents, such as wills, property deeds, or notarised forms, need other formalities. You are responsible for deciding whether an electronic signature is appropriate for your document, and for the accuracy of what you sign and send. This is general information, not legal advice.
5. What the App does, and what it does not do
So that there is no doubt about what you are relying on:
- Everything happens on your device. Documents, signatures, clients, and business details are stored on your iPhone and are never uploaded to us. We cannot see them.
- Your own signature is saved to your library only when you choose to save it. A client's signature is stored on the document they signed and is never added to your library.
- A signed document cannot be edited while keeping the signature. If you change it, the client's signature is removed and the document goes back to draft.
The App does not verify identity: anyone holding the device can draw a signature. It does not detect later changes to an exported file, so once a PDF leaves the App we cannot tell whether it was edited afterwards. It does not provide legal advice, and whether a signed document can be enforced depends on your situation and the law where you are.
6. Your content and your responsibilities
You keep all rights to the documents, signatures, and business information you create in the App. This content stays on your device. You are responsible for it, for keeping your own backups, and for using the App only for lawful purposes and documents you are entitled to sign or send. Do not use the App to forge signatures, impersonate others, or break the law.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App over time. We may also update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use of the App means you accept the updated terms.
8. Our intellectual property
The App, its name, design, and code belong to us and are protected by law. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
9. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not responsible for how a third party treats a document you sign or send.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you did not back up. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend access if these terms are broken. Deleting the App removes its on-device data.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where you live, and any mandatory consumer protections of your country continue to apply.
